the first 30 mins were slow but that was it. He quickly found the fish and kept putting us on them all day. we caught a large variety of fish from red fish, speckled trout to black drum and even a venomous toad fish. He had a great attitude and was non stop baiting our lines and helping if we got snagged.

Our trip very family friendly and guide was super patient with our kids. We would come again! Captain did a great job getting us to the fish and we had a great time. Trip is great for anyone beginner or advanced. Was cold during our trip but we still caught plenty of fish. future guest should ensure they dress appropriately if going to be chilly. Also make sure to bring snacks!

Captain Brian Wass is a true professional fishing charter in every area. He was honest, knowledgeable, and communicative. The weather was terrible when we went out but we still caught fish from start to finish. We will be using Brian again in the future and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to any others looking for a great time fishing! Thanks Captain Brian! We will be back!

Captain Brian Wass never disappoints. Not only a great captain, but a great fisherman, sportsman, and friend. You can't go wrong fishing with him, whether it's inshore or offshore. He's got the skills to put you on the fish and make changes as necessary, to make your fishing adventure a great one.

We had an amazing time fishing with Brian/Smokey! He was incredibly attentive and made sure all our fishing needs were met. If we weren’t catching much or reaching our limit, he quickly moved us to a new spot for a different species. We both limited out on Pompano and Redfish, and even caught a Sheephead! It was such a fun experience, and we’ll definitely be back next year!

From the moment we arrived and left the dock, Brian's expertise, patience, and love for fishing were evident, and he kept a perfect balance of professionalism and fun throughout the trip. The boat was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed to make the experience even better. Brian had all the gear ready, setting us up for success. Brian went above and beyond to make sure we all had a great time, offering tips, joining in on our family’s jokes, and ensuring everyone caught multiple fish—which was incredibly exciting! Captain Brian did an excellent job putting us on fish and kept working hard to get us onto bigger catches. He was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating! While we didn’t land anything huge, we caught fish all day and had enough to bring home for a great fish fry. As a local, Captain Brian shared tons of information about the area and even gave us great restaurant recommendations! We tried one of his suggestions already, and it was amazing! If I’m ever back in the area, I’ll definitely fish with him again!

Brian was fantastic. The fish weren’t biting at first, but he took us to several spots until we found the perfect location where they were active. My husband was eager to learn about fishing in Orange Beach and Perdido, and Brian was incredibly knowledgeable, teaching him about the best lines, bait, and fishing areas. It was a great time and an unforgettable experience!
